ARKAI is an award-winning string duo that redefines genre boundaries — fusing classical virtuosity with the electricity of a rock band, the spontaneity of a jazz combo, and the beauty of a string quartet. Their past engagements include performances at the Metropolitan Opera, Lincoln Center, Public Theater, and Carnegie Hall, as well as a hugely popular concert at Bay Chamber’s Screen Door Festival last summer.
Committed to social impact through music, ARKAI was commissioned by the Museum of Chinese in America to write a piece for the Responses: Asian Americans Resisting the Tides of Racism exhibition. Their electronic debut composition, Letters from COVID, was featured at TED@PMI, attracting a global audience from 182 countries. ARKAI is currently creating a debut album, Aurora, in collaboration with seven-time Grammy-nominated producer Joel Hamilton.
Join ARKAI for a dynamic and electrifying musical evening of original compositions and beloved classics.
